Vacancies

 

We always hold opportunities for volunteers as we are a growing and expanding service. Expenses are paid for all volunteers.

 

Qualified counsellors/therapists

We require you to complete an application form and provide references, and proof of qualifications.  You will then be invited for an interview. Following success of this and a successful enhanced CRB check, you will be offered a place on the team. Supervision costs are met by The Haven up to £45 for full team members.

 

Placement counsellors

Following completion of an application form and references, you will be invited for an interview. You will be required to undergo enhanced CRB check. If you are offered a placement you will be required to fund your own supervision but travel expenses will be met within certain mileage.

 

Supervision

We offer professional supervision to individuals or other agencies.

 

Chaperone

We require people to be in the office whilst therapy is taking place in a separate room.  Here you are free to read, knit take a little time out for yourself….. or you could help with the cleaning. Again an application form, reference, interview and standard CRB is required.

 

Trustees

We require people who can bring skills and expertise in fundraising, advertising, mental health etc. to become a trustee of The Haven, a growing centre of excellence.
